NC EOG ALL Grades Math Practice
This site was compiled by NC State University. It is interactive (checks your answers immediately) and is broken down into the NC Goals and Objectives. It is based on old EOG Objectives and students are not responsible for all skills tested here. You may view a current copy of the NC Goals and Objectives at http://www.learnnc.org/scos/2004-MAT/5/ The basic outline of the goals is still the same...questions in Goal 1 test Numbers and Operations, Goal 2 tests Measurement, Goal 3 tests Geometry, Goal 4 tests Data and Probability (Graphs) and Goal 5 questions test Algebra. It is also helpful to practice grade 4 questions for review.

NC EOG Math Prep

Math and Science - This site is from Virginia and similar to the Texas sites provide practice on SOME of the same skills that NC recommends. If you play around with this site, you can also customize it to specific goals and topics that you struggle with.

The Magic Pen

Note: This site has many ads.
The goal of this game to get the small red ball to hit the red flags and go up as many levels as possible. In order to accomplish this, you use the "magic pen" to create ramps, balls, hinges, and levers to move the red ball toward the red flag. All of the objects behave just as they would in real life. Very cool to play around with. Good Luck!
